Late teen years — isn’t it a great time to work on your own major artistic projects?
If clay is a new medium for you, you can master the technology and combine it with other techniques you already use. If you are already familiar with clay, why not start working on larger-scale projects? We will guide you through the entire process: from developing an initial idea and sketching to making prototypes and creating a final masterpiece. Your work can be showcased in the studio or added to your professional portfolio. As an artist, you won't be pushed; instead, you will be gently guided through the nuances of ceramic technology.
During these weekly 1 hour and 20 minute sessions, you will gain deep clay knowledge, meet new friends or artistic colleagues, and enjoy an awesome space to bring your most creative ideas to life. To ensure a focused and calm environment, groups are limited to a maximum of 6 people your age.
In this class, you can also practice on the pottery wheel to create more complex forms. All pieces are professionally fired to Cone 6 for maximum durability. We use only food-safe glazes, meaning your functional pieces are completely safe for everyday use.
